  1. Breather Vents
Conservation Breather Vents, combination Conservation Vents with Flame Arrestors, Pressure Vents, and Vacuum Vents are designed to prevent pressure buildup and provide vacuum relief in applications that control hazardous vapors or high pressures, to allow continuous operation within permissible pressures while avoiding damages to tanks or vessels. Available in Aluminum, Ductile Iron, Stainless Steel, Hastelloy C, Fiberglass, Polypropylene, PVDF, Polyethylene, and PVC in several configurations in sizes 2” through 12”:

    • End-of-Line Conservation Breather Vent
    • Conservation Breather Vent with Pipe-Away
    • Conservation Pressure Vent with Pipe-Away
    • Side-Mount Vacuum Relief Vent
    • Spring-Loaded Pressure/Vacuum Relief Vents
    • In-Line Conservation Breather Vent
    • Combo. Conservation Vent & Flame Arrestor
    • End-of-Line Vacuum Relief Vent
    • Vacuum / Pressure Control for Corrosive Vapors
    • Steam Jacketed Conservation Vents
  2. Flame Arrestors

flame_arrestorsFlame Arrestors are installed in tanks where low flash-point solvents must be protected against fire and explosion from exterior sources of ignition. Flame Arrestors are generally installed under conditions of moderate atmospheric exposures or limitations of space for installation. Flame Arrestors are offered in several styles and sizes and materials of construction:
    Mushroom Vent with Circular Plate-Type
    Sizes 1” – 4” in Aluminum & Stainless Steel

    Vent-Line with Circular Plate Type
Sizes 1” – 12” in Alum., D.Iron, Stainless Steel Rectangular Plate-Type with Weatherhood
Sizes 2” – 8” in Alum., D. Iron, Stainless Steel

    Bi-Directional Overdriven/Unstable Detonation
    Sizes 2” – 24” in Steel, S. Steel & Alloy C276

  3. Rupture Disks

Rupture Disks and disk sensors offer over-pressure protection situation in tanks and piping. Disks and sensors both come in a large variety of materials, including 316 Stainless Steel, Nickel 200/201, Inconel 600, Monel 400, and Hastelloy C-276 for highly corrosive environments. Standard materials for disk holders are 316L Stainless Steel. Depending on service, sizes range from 1” through 24” and burst pressures from 5 – 5000 PSIG in non-fragmenting service.
Also available are Rupture Disk Management systems, which collect pressure and temperature data at the rupture disk device, analyses the information and provides users with alarms and warnings when it is appropriate for service and maintenance, while also providing immediate indication of when a rupture disk has burst.
